Atlanta Welcomes Nick Saban, Steve Wozniak, Kat Cole and Other World Class Leaders for Leadercast Live on May 6th
Staff Report From Metro Atlanta CEO
Friday, April 1st, 2016
On May 6, more than 100,000 leaders from around the globe will participate in Leadercast Live at the Infinite Energy Arena and at hundreds of simulcast locations around the world. Known as the largest one-day leadership event in the world, Leadercast Live exists to create Leaders Worth Following -- leaders who will inspire and ignite organizations, communities and families to grow in unique and outstanding ways. This year, attendees will hear from innovative and inspiring leaders including Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak; head football coach at the University of Alabama, Nick Saban; leadership author and communicator, Andy Stanley; acclaimed leadership expert, clinical psychologist and author, Dr. Henry Cloud; Group President of Focus Brands, Kat Cole; and more.
Hosted by Tripp Crosby, the theme of Leadercast 2016 is "Architects of Tomorrow." Each session will focus on one of four unique perspectives that an "Architect of Tomorrow," or visionary leader, must explore as they embark on creating a preferred future. Attendees will learn about how to have the "eyes to see," the "voice to share," the "heart to inspire" and the "feet to lead." They will have the opportunity to learn a diverse perspective on how to cast and implement a vision for their organization or team.
"The Leadercast brand mission is to build leaders worth following. Our goal is to create an experience that drives leaders to think, lead, and behave differently," said Leadercast CEO Keith Wilmot. "We know a passion will be ignited at Leadercast Live that inspires leaders to positively influence business, government, and society."
Presenting Sponsor Concur, along with other sponsors, have come together to create innovative and engaging leadership experiences throughout the day. Executive Experience ticket holders will also enjoy a pre-event breakfast, access to an executive lounge available throughout the event, and a Q&A lunch with Kat Cole and Nick Saban.
Leadercast Live has quickly become one of the premiere networking events for attendees to interact with other leaders in person or via an interactive mobile app. In addition, those in the fields of nursing and human resources have the opportunity to earn Continuing Education credits, while other professions can obtain General CEUs.
Prior to Leadercast Live, Leadercast will be hosting the first-ever Leadercast Labs event on May 5th. The event will provide a more hands-on environment where attendees will receive in-depth insight from respected voices on topics that will help them craft their personal leadership vision. This year's sessions include: Five Voices: Know Yourself to Lead Your Team; Five Gears: How to Be Present and Productive; Learn to Tap Into Your Creative Genius; and Crafting Your Approach to Remarkable Results. Following the lab sessions, the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce will host an after-hours networking event on location. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the Leadercast Labs event will go toward Relay For Life, an overnight community walk that raises funds for the American Cancer Society.
The Leadercast team understands that the process of visionary leadership only begins at Leadercast Live. Attendees will leave with key actions and tools that enhance their abilities to lead others following the event. In 2015, more than 100,000 leaders from 33 countries attended Leadercast across all venues and left equipped to improve their leadership.
Alexandria Williams, student at Georgia State University and attendee of Leadercast Live 2015, said, "I was most impressed by how applicable the information was to my life. Leadercast brought super stars in to speak about things to ordinary people. I couldn't get those gems any other way."
