GDOL to Co-sponsor Career Expo in Gwinnett County

More than 60 employers will be recruiting to fill hundreds of job openings at a career expo in Gwinnett County on Tuesday, April 19.

The Georgia Department of Labor, along with the Norcross Cooperative Ministry and 12 Stone Church, will co-sponsor the expo. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church located at 2050 Sugarloaf Circle in Duluth. In keeping with the U.S. Department of Labor’s priority of service regulation, veterans and military personnel will be allowed to enter the event at 9:30 a.m. GDOL staff will be on site to help screen the applicants.

Employers who have already registered for the expo are Alcon, Allied Barton Security Service, Associated Credit Union, Atlanta Electrical Contractors, Automation Personnel Service, Aviation Institute, Caterpillar, Classic Party Rental, Clear Point Counseling, CMES, Cobb County Public Safety, DeKalb County Police, Department of Veterans Affairs, Disabled American Veterans, Discount Tire Company, Dunbar Armored, Dynamic Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Flexible Staffing of Georgia, Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, Georgia Army National Guard, and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.  

Also, the Georgia Department of Corrections, Georgia Department of Public Safety, Georgia United Credit Union, Goodwill of North Georgia, Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office,  Gwinnett County Fire Department, Gwinnett County Police Department, Gwinnett County Public Schools, Gwinnett Technical College, HD Supply, Hi Hope Center, Hire Dynamics, Jewish Family and Career Services, Labor Ready/Trublue Hospitality, Life South Community Centers, Mansfield Oil, Nature Scape Landscape Services, Penske Truck Leasing, Randstad, Rated ETA, Ricoh Electronics, Signature Lawn Service, Spherion Staffing, Staff Way, Stone Mountain Park, Teachers R US, Theragenics Corporation, True Staffing, Tungsten Network, Uber, U.S Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, United Way of Greater Atlanta, Waffle House, Walden Security, and the Wounded Warriors Project.
