Brasfield & Gorrie has completed construction of Seventh Midtown, a luxury condominium community on the corner of 7th and Peachtree in Midtown Atlanta. After a 13-month schedule that included turning over six residential units a month before substantial completion, the construction team has delivered the new mixed-use tower on schedule and within budget.

Within walking distance of the historic Fox Theatre, renowned restaurants and retail shops, and Atlanta’s art district, Seventh Midtown was constructed on a curb-to-curb site on one of the city’s busiest thoroughfares. The construction team worked with city and code officials throughout the project to minimize disruption to pedestrian and vehicular traffic and to local residents’ daily life.

Brasfield & Gorrie completed the nine-story concrete structure using a seven-day pour-and-set cycle and implemented the design team’s creative solutions, including a pervious paver system to accommodate water detention, to optimize the space available on the tight site.

The 80,000 sq ft mixed-use project includes 20 luxury residences and two retail spaces, which are home to Starbucks and Eye Elements. The exterior of the building is clad in an architecturally appealing mix of brick, window wall, metal panels and stucco, combining a residential feel with the modern aesthetic of Midtown’s high-rise glass and concrete towers.

Brasfield & Gorrie installed high-end finishes throughout the property. The condominium units feature sleek, elegant fixtures and finishes, including Pedini cabinets from Italy, Silestone countertops produced in Spain, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances and site-finished hardwood flooring.

“Brasfield & Gorrie’s leadership and the on-site project team, in particular, ensured the excellent craftsmanship of every detail of Seventh Midtown,” said Brian Lu, Vice President, Director of Development, for The Loudermilk Companies. “Their understanding of our vision, their construction expertise and the team’s hard work came together to create an outstanding product. Additionally, their ‘team first’ mentality allowed us to turn over 75 percent of the units even before substantial completion, which is a remarkable achievement.”
