Michael Cohn, Co-founder of Cloud Sherpas, Joins RSI Board of Directors

Rural Sourcing Inc., the leading provider of US-based IT outsourcing services, announced that Michael Cohn has been appointed to its Board of Directors.

Cohn co-founded Cloud Sherpas in 2008. As a member of the senior leadership team he was responsible for global marketing and helping scale the business to more than 1,100 employees before its purchase by Accenture in 2015.

"Michael's marketing and entrepreneurial experience will be a great asset for RSI as we continue to grow and position the company as a cost-competitive alternative for offshore technology services," said Monty Hamilton, chief executive office at Rural Sourcing Inc. "His success in developing and leading companies with cloud-based solutions into successful global organizations as well as his marketing technology background will add a unique and guiding perspective."

Cohn was recently named Managing Director at Techstars Atlanta. He also serves as a mentor at Atlanta Tech Village and advises several startups, including Terminus, Groundfloor and Storj. He is on the Board of Directors at Venture Atlanta and is an advisor to the Emory Impact Investing Group. Cohn received a bachelor's degree in biology from Binghamton University and a master's degree in marketing from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
