Lindy Benton, CEO and President of Vyne, has been named to an inaugural panel of the most powerful women in healthcare IT. Benton will be honored at Health Data Management'sfirst-ever program initiated to highlight influential women in the industry.
Taking place May 12 in Boston, the daylong program will offer professional development and an awards ceremony recognizing 75 women who are driving technology and innovation in healthcare. Awards will be given in three categories: thought leaders, provider/payer executives and CIOs/IT leaders. Benton will be awarded in the "thought leaders" category.
With 30 years' of healthcare IT experience, Benton's career includes more than 15 years in leadership at Cerner Corporation and The Sage Group. Now CEO of Vyne, Benton is leading the company in creating a unified view of patient health information exchanged across the continuum of care. "We manage disconnected data that has traditionally been stored outside the EHR," said Benton. "Unifying and leveraging this information improves care coordination and operational performance for providers."
