Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta a Top Hospital in U.S. News Annual Survey

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is ranked among the nation’s top pediatric hospitals in U.S. News & World Report’s 2016-17 edition of “Best Children's Hospitals.”  Children's had three specialty areas rank among the top 10 in the nation, including: the Sibley Heart Center, which ranked as the No. 4 cardiac program; the Children’s nephrology program, which ranked No. 9; and the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children’s, which ranked as the No. 10 cancer program. Four other specialties ranked among the top 20, including: gastroenterology, orthopedics, neonatology and endocrinology.

The report ranks hospitals for excellence in outcomes, program structure and national reputation in 10 pediatric specialty areas—with the survey questions created and refined by content experts in each field. Children’s ranked in each of the 10 specialty areas.
