Former AT&T Chairman & CEO to Lead Centerview Capital Technology's New Atlanta Office

Centerview Capital Technology Management, L.P. announced the opening of a new office in Atlanta, GA, expanding the firm's reach and commitment to innovation outside of Silicon Valley. David Dorman, one of the Founding Partners of Centerview Capital Technology and the former Chairman and CEO of AT&T, will lead development of the firm's relationships in Atlanta and the neighboring regions.

Centerview Capital Technology was founded by experienced operating executives including Mr. Dorman and Ned Hooper, the former Chief Strategy Officer of Cisco, and Sandhya Venkatachalam, former VP Advertising and Monetization and Head of Corporate Development at Skype, to invest in fast-growing technology companies and enable them to successfully scale their businesses and build long-term success. The team's extensive experience in building and growing companies enables them to partner with management teams, providing a unique combination of capital, operational support, and global network of relationships.
Earlier this year, Centerview Capital Technology invested in the leading independent Managed Security Services Provider SecureWorks, whose global operations are headquartered in Atlanta. David Dorman joined the Board of Directors of SecureWorks in conjunction with the company's IPO, which began trading on Friday, April 22nd. A large portion of SecureWorks' 2,100 employees are based in the Atlanta area.
The firm separately announced that it also expanding its Silicon Valley investment team with veteran CEO, entrepreneur and investor Buno Pati, joining as a partner.
