Marcus Van Ameringen has joined Colliers International Atlanta as vice president to lead the Seniors Housing Investment Sales team. The team will operate as part of the Colliers National Seniors Housing Group.

Van Ameringen has more than 20 years of executive-level experience in operations, sales and marketing in the assisted living, independent living and skilled nursing fields.

He has held senior-level marketing positions with Wellington Healthcare, Capital Care Management and Ethica Health & Retirement.  He was also director of market research for Life Care Centers of America.

Recent consulting clients include Hodges Ward Elliott, GoldenCrest Senior Living, Healthcare Capital Consolidated SL, Thrive Senior Living, Mainstay Financial and others.
