Chambers USA, a leading legal industry rankings organization, released its 2016 rankings for lawyers and practices. Polsinelli earned high placements in state, practice and attorney rankings, with 10 practices and 57 attorneys receiving recognition. The practice areas in Atlanta that garnered recognition were: Labor & Employment and Litigation General Commercial. The Atlanta attorneys recognized by Chamber USA were: William B. Hill, Jr. in Labor & Employment and Litigation: General Commercial; Matthew S. Knoop in Litigation: General Commercial; Nancy E. Rafuse in Labor & Employment and Sidney Welch in Healthcare.

Chambers rankings are based on several factors, including information obtained from client interviews, submissions put forward by law firms, as well as Chambers’ own database resources. Individual attorneys are ranked on the basis of their legal knowledge and experience, ability, effectiveness and client-service in their respective practice areas. Law firm practices are ranked on quality of their attorneys, strength/depth, effectiveness and capability of the department.

For the second year in a row, Chambers ranked Polsinelli’s Health Care Practice at the national level. The firm’s National Health Care Practice was ranked No. 1 by Modern Healthcare last year. For the first time, Polsinelli’s Product Liability and Mass Torts Practice was ranked at the national level by Chambers.

 Polsinelli has risen more than 50 spots over the past five years in the Am Law 100 annual law firm ranking. Recently, the firm was ranked among the 100 best U.S. law firms for women for the second year in a row by Law360. Polsinelli was ranked among the top five percent of 650 law firms for providing outstanding client service to clients with revenues over $1 billion, according to BTI Consulting Group’s annual benchmark market study in client service known as the BTI Client Service A-Team.
