The Atlanta Concours d'Elegance Honoree Gala, an evening of charitable giving hosted by and benefiting the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter, will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Château Élan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Georgia. The gala dinner will honor Don Panoz, pharmaceutical, technology and auto racing entrepreneur, and will feature a unique reverse raffle to win a custom-built Panoz GT sports car valued at nearly $250,000.

"I was very humbled when the organizers announced that I'd be the honoree at the first Atlanta Concours d'Elegance," said Don Panoz, DeltaWing Technology Group chairman. "Yet it was important to me that the gala support a meaningful cause. Because of my wife Nancy's long-standing admiration of the Alzheimer's Association, it made perfect sense to join forces and help combat this debilitating disease."

The Honoree Gala is part of the weekend-long Concours d'Elegance event held on October 8 and 9. The exhibition of rare and classic vehicles, called "Shifting Through Time," will span decades of car history, perfect for all vehicle enthusiasts and car club members. Attendees will view major car manufacturer exhibits, participate in ride-and-drive opportunities, attend technical sessions and view generations of drivable vehicles before attending the Honoree Gala on Saturday evening. On Sunday, owners of very special vehicles will compete for a number of awards.
