CineMassive, an industry leader in high-performance video wall systems, has expanded and remodeled its facility to better support the company's collaborative workflow.
Designed by Kronberg Wall Architects, the new facility follows Atlanta's warehouse-to-loft office conversion initiative while meeting CineMassive's unique spatial requirements. The company needed a facility that could accommodate the design and testing of its large-scale visualization systems while also providing a flexible, collaborative work environment for its growing team. The open-concept layout features glass walls, exposed brick, themed conference rooms, whiteboard nooks, and a gym. Employees can also retreat to the breakroom for a snack in the gourmet kitchenette or a relaxing game of pool, shuffleboard, or table tennis.
The vision behind the renovation comes from CineMassive Co-Founder David Minnix, who wanted to create a space where his employees felt empowered to collaborate. "We hire smart, innovative people who are passionate about their work and deliver great results," said Minnix. "In return, it's our responsibility to give them an environment that makes them excited to come to work. When you put your team in a space that inspires them to exercise their talents, you start seeing an impact on their workflow and productivity."
In addition to investing in his employees with a new workspace, Minnix wanted to invest in his customers with a beautiful new lobby. The new lobby is an immersive, multi-functional space where customers can interact with a variety of CineMassive video wall systems. "We wanted a lobby that would showcase the innovative ways in which our customers are using our technology," said Katie Digby, Director of Sales and Marketing. "We are thrilled with the outcome and are very excited to reveal the completed space this fall."
The building renovations started in Q3 2015 at the original 150 Ottley Drive NE location, and the facility's grand opening has been scheduled for Q4 2016.
