Cousins Announces Special Meeting of Stockholders to Vote on Merger with Parkway Properties, Inc.

Cousins Properties Incorporated announced that Cousins will hold a Special Meeting of its Stockholders on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, at 191 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 500, Atlanta, Georgia 30303. At the Special Meeting, Cousins' stockholders will vote on proposals related to the previously announced agreement and plan of merger, pursuant to which Parkway Properties, Inc. will merge with and into a wholly owned subsidiary of Cousins in a stock-for-stock transaction. The record date for determination of stockholders entitled to vote at the Special Meeting has been set as the close of business on Friday, July 15, 2016.
