Moxieannounced that it has been selected by Delta Air Lines, Inc. — one of the world's largest global airlines — as its social media agency following a competitive review. Moxie will manage social efforts, including strategy, content creation and analytics, across Delta's core channels: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and its "Taking Off" Tumblr page.
"We are excited to have the opportunity to help Delta expand its presence in the social space," said Sean Reardon, CEO of Moxie. "They have set the standard for the travel industry for over a decade — something I've come to experience firsthand during my frequent travels. We look forward to adding depth and dimension to Delta's already rich story."
Headquartered in Atlanta, Delta helps more than 180 million travelers each year get to the places they want to go. With customer satisfaction being a top priority, it's Delta's mission to become the world's most loved travel brand by engaging, inspiring and serving customers daily. To realize this mission, Delta sought the support of a highly progressive and experienced agency team who understands the brand, the business and has the know-how to effectively translate both across the ever-evolving social ecosystem. After conducting a comprehensive review process, Delta identified Moxie as that agency partner.
"Moxie is a recognized expert in the social space," said Julieta McCurry, Director, Marketing Communications at Delta. "As we continue to grow, it's critical that we create meaningful and relevant experiences for our customers across the channels they increasingly rely on the most."
Kristina Jonathan, EVP of Strategy at Moxie, commented, "Social plays an always-on and central role in Delta's business — connecting customer service, brand relevance and flight reservations 24/7. We are absolutely thrilled to partner with the Delta team to design and employ sophisticated storytelling across the largest shared spaces on the web."
