More than 400,000 FedEx team members are busy preparing for the holidays.  FedEx is increasing hours for some existing employees and increasing the workforce with seasonal positions as needed to maintain outstanding service during the peak holiday season. FedEx plans to add more than 50,000 positions leading up to this Peak season, with the majority of these within the FedEx Ground network.

FedEx plans to add 1,500 seasonal positions at FedEx facilities in Atlanta. Anyone interested in helping the holidays arrive are encouraged to check http://careers.fedex.com. FedEx will begin hiring for seasonal positions in October and continue to add more as needed.

As online shopping and e-commerce continues to grow, so does the number of packages moving through the FedEx global network. FedEx has continued to make enhancements across its network to accommodate the increased volumes on a year-round basis. Those filling these seasonal positions will help the holidays arrive by delivering the joy FedEx customers are sending around the world.
