Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent Meria J. Carstarphen delivers her annual State of the District address at 8 a.m., Friday, Oct. 7 at the newly renovated Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, located at 545 Hill St. SE, Atlanta, GA, 30312.
 
Carstarphen will showcase talented APS students before an audience of business and civic leaders, parents, APS alumni and staff to tell the story of the APS transformation, district priorities, and vision, using educational hip-hop music based on the Broadway musical “Hamilton.”
