Continuum Veterans Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing financial support to charities that focus on helping veterans find jobs in IT, donated $50,000 to Atlanta-based Hire Heroes USA, the pre-eminent national nonprofit organization providing veteran employment services, for the fourth consecutive year. Hire Heroes USA provides free employment services to veterans, including online assessments, resume writing and career counseling. Since 2013, Continuum Veterans Foundation has donated over $250,000 to Hire Heroes USA, confirming a record number of more than 11,000 veterans hired in civilian jobs to-date.

“We have really put all of our energy and all of our philanthropic efforts behind it as a company and it’s really been taking on a life of its own,” said Michael George, CEO of Continuum Managed Services, the sole donor to the Continuum Veterans Foundation. “It’s been very fulfilling and great common cause across the entire organization.”

Continuum Veterans Foundation receives a percentage of corporate profits from Continuum Managed Services and disperses funds to organizations that support veterans and their spouses transitioning from military to civilian life, giving back to those who have served the U.S. Continuum believes it is essential for successful companies to stand for a purpose beyond revenue and to support causes far greater than itself. The company’s 5,800 Managed Services Provider partners make donations to nonprofit organizations like Hire Heroes USA possible.

Continuum employees also donate 20 hours a year of paid company time to various veteran causes. The company’s Boston office and its building management company, Transwestern, are sponsoring a Boot Drive for the New England Center for Homeless Veterans from November 11-30, 2016. The goal is to collect 100 pairs of good quality men’s and women’s winter boots for area veterans.
