Delta Community Increases Philanthropic Fund to $100,000 to Benefit Metro Atlanta Charities

Delta Community Credit Union, Georgia's largest credit union with more than $5 billion in assets, announces recipients of its fourth annual Philanthropic Fund grant program. In 2017, the Credit Union will invest a total of $100,000 in 22 organizations which support metro Atlanta children and families.

"Increasing our total Philanthropic Fund from $80,000 to $100,000 and increasing the number of agencies we support demonstrates our commitment to support worthwhile organizations which share our goal of improving physical and financial health, especially among young people," said Delta Community CEO Hank Halter. "In addition, our employees actively support and partner with these award recipients throughout the year in the communities we serve."  

Of the many applications received, an employee committee selected the following 2017 Philanthropic Fund grant recipients:
