Preparis Names Charles Pearson as CEO

Leading business continuity and emergency notification softwareand services provider, Preparis, announced that it has appointed Charles Pearson as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Armistead Whitney, Preparis’ founder and previous CEO, will continue to be an active board member.
“With a stellar operating team and revenue goals being met, the cornerstones are in place at Preparis for continued growth and success. Having worked closely with Charles, he will do an excellent job executing the company vision and upholding Preparis’ culture. I’m excited to be an active board member supporting Charles and the entire Preparis team,” said Whitney.
Pearson joined Preparis in March 2016 as Chief Financial Officer and was appointed to CEO effective Nov. 1. Prior to Preparis, Pearson led OmniLink as CFO from SaaS software startup to a successful sale to NUMEREX in 2014. After the sale, he remained with NUMEREX as Vice President of Sales and Operations where he was responsible for OmniLink’s Internet of Things initiatives for the Mobile Personal Emergency Response Systems and personal location solutions. Pearson also led a four-fold growth of Manteca Enterprises as Vice President of Finance and sold the company to Consolidated Delivery and Logistics.
