Delta has been named a winner of the annual Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards, a list of the Best Places to Work in 2017. Delta is the top-ranked airline, landing at No. 21 on the list of 50 large companies. This is the second straight year Delta has been awarded the honor.
“Company culture and the employee experience are critical considerations for job seekers everywhere when deciding where to work,” said Robert Hohman, Glassdoor CEO and co-founder. “To help, the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards recognize companies that truly stand out as Best Places to Work because they’re purely determined by the authentic voice of those who really know a company best —the employees.
“Employers where employees love to work continue to prove that they have a recruiting and business performance edge. We’re proud to celebrate the 2017 Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards winners in earning this incredible achievement.”
The Best Places to Work are determined using company reviews shared by U.S.-based employees between Nov. 2, 2015 and Oct. 30, 2016. The final list is compiled based on Glassdoor’s proprietary algorithm and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews.
“It’s a wonderful honor to receive this award again,” said Glen Johnson, Director – Staffing and Recruitment. “A huge thank you goes out to all Delta people who took the time to share their perspectives on what it’s like to work here. We appreciate all of the valuable feedback, as it helps to drive continuous improvement.”
