Elizabeth Pearce Joins the Lovett Team as Chief Development Officer

The Lovett School is pleased to announce the appointment of Lovett graduate, Elizabeth Pearce '87, as Chief Development Officer. In this role, Elizabeth will work with the Assistant Head for External Affairs to lead Lovett's fundraising initiatives, including the True Blue Annual Fund, capital giving, and endowment giving.
Elizabeth joins Lovett from Coxe Curry & Associates, where she has been a campaign director for sixteen years. Her experience ranges from annual campaigns, capital campaigns, and endowment efforts, to feasibility studies, development assessments, and the coordination of campaign materials for a long list of prestigious local and regional organizations, including Agape Youth and Family Center, Atlanta Shakespeare Company, Centennial Olympic Park, The Cathedral of St. Philip, Central Georgia Health System, Georgia Aquarium, Greater Atlanta Christian School, Jerusalem House, Junior Achievement, National Black Arts Festival, Piedmont Park, The Salvation Army, and the Woodruff Arts Center, among many others. Before joining Coxe Curry & Associates in 2000, Elizabeth worked at Deloitte Consulting and INVESCO.
Elizabeth is a very active volunteer; she is currently a Trustee of Rhodes College and also serves on the Emeritus Board of Breakthrough Atlanta, the Shepherd Center Advisory Board, and has been integral in starting a new giving circle at Shepherd called "Women Shaping Shepherd." Elizabeth is also active with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
A native of Atlanta, Elizabeth graduated from The Lovett School and Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee with a B.A. in Business Administration. She has an M.B.A. from Georgia State University.
Elizabeth started her new position at Lovett on November 28.
