In time for its 91st season entertaining fans all over the world, the Harlem Globetrotters unveiled the team's first logo refresh in over 25 years.

The new design – an evolution on the classic Globetrotters logo – is meant to stay true to the foundation on which the brand is built, while forging a new identity for the future. The contemporized design pays homage to the showmanship that has always been a hallmark of the Globetrotters, while positioning the team as one of the leading event and entertainment properties in the world.

"The Globetrotters brand is one of the most recognizable in the sports and entertainment world," said Howard Smith, president of the Harlem Globetrotters. "For 90 years, wherever this team has gone, our logo has signaled the arrival of smiles, service and sportsmanship. We're looking forward to this updated design doing the same for the next 90 years."

In addition to the new logo, the Globetrotters also debuted a redesigned website, designed to give fans the ability to get closer to the team than ever before. With added video and digital components, Globetrotter faithfuls from all over the world now have a chance to get inside the locker room, interact with players, as well as stay up to date with news and information.

The new site will also feature easy-to-use ticket-buying options, and a full-scale Harlem Globetrotters shop, where fans can pick up gear for their next trip to a game.  The Globetrotters tip off their 2017 World Tour December 26th and will play in over 250 North American markets as well as 30 countries worldwide.
