Monday, January 30th, 2017
2017 marks a monumental milestone for Windham Brannon. The Atlanta-based leading provider of tax, audit and advisory services will celebrate 60 years of business servicing clients across a myriad of industries and segments.
In 1957 a small, independent CPA firm emerged on the Atlanta scene formed by four partners, Fred Windham, Ben Brannon, Richard Simons and Stuart Cashin. In 1966, partner Jim Duval joined and the name expanded. Windham Brannon, PC was branded in 1988, and the Windham Brannon Foundation was established to fund scholarships in 2007. Throughout the years, the firm has undergone a tremendous progression and transformation, including a successful merger with Tarpley & Underwood in 2011.
Today, Windham Brannon holds the position of one of Atlanta's leading CPA firms with 13 partners and more than 150 associates and support teams serving businesses and high-net worth clients. Windham Brannon continues to see expanded growth, closing the 2016 fiscal year with a positive 13-percent increase firm-wide.
"We're in this position of leadership 60 years later because of the dedication and loyalty of our clients and our team of experts, many of whom have been with the firm for most, if not all, of their careers," said Heidi LaMarca, managing partner, Windham Brannon. "I'm extremely proud to sit at the helm of Windham Brannon and see how much the firm has evolved over the years, continuing to anticipate and meet the needs and challenges our clients face."
Windham Brannon's 60th anniversary will be commemorated throughout the year with a variety of activities, including community initiatives, as well as a special celebration for clients during its annual Insights event held in November.
