Governor Announces Judicial Appointment of Paige Reese Whitaker

Gov. Nathan Deal announced the appointment of Paige Reese Whitaker as Superior Court Judge of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit. Whitaker will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the Honorable Jerry W. Baxter. The appointment will take effect upon swearing in.
Whitaker is a deputy district attorney in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and a law degree from Duke University School of Law. Whitaker and her husband have two children and reside in Atlanta.
