Techstars Atlanta, presented in partnership with Cox Enterprises, is accepting applications for its 2017 class through April 9. Techstars is an internationally recognized accelerator program that boosts entrepreneurs' early stage business and product development efforts through focused education, mentorship and funding. Historically, Techstars companies go on to average more than $2 million raised in outside capital after the program.
Building on its successful first year, Techstars Atlanta will select a group of 10 startups to participate in a 90-day program that provides expertise, funding and office space to help them accelerate their businesses. Techstars Atlanta focuses on technologies that are driving positive change in an interconnected world. The 2016 class included participants from four different countries. The 2017 program culminates on Oct. 10 with Demo Day, where approximately 1,000 angel investors, venture capitalists and members of the startup community learn about the participants' businesses.
Michael Cohn and Tyler Scriven, Techstars Atlanta's managing directors, will be hosting information sessions and office hours for companies interested in applying for the program.
