Thursday, March 30th, 2017
MAU Workforce Solutions, a family-owned global staffing, recruiting, and outsourcing company founded in 1973, announced its intended acquisition of metro Atlanta-based FutureStaff. The transition is in process with standard closing conditions, and is scheduled to close on May 1, 2017. The combination of the companies affirms MAU as the premier workforce supplier in the state of Georgia, and also lays a broader strategic foundation for MAU’s continued expansion across the U.S. and in global markets.
Randall W. Hatcher, President of MAU Workforce Solutions said, “I am excited for our clients, applicants, and employees for whom we seek to make a difference in their lives every day. FutureStaff is an incredible company that shares our values and commitments, and they have demonstrated excellence in service in the Atlanta metro area for 35 years. Georgia remains a priority in our corporate growth strategy, and Atlanta specifically is the business gateway to the world. Since the majority of our clients are international, we will now be better able to service their global needs."
The acquisition of FutureStaff will increase the MAU’s presence to 11 company-owned locations in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Utah. Globally, they also provide service in 48 countries and 6 continents through worldwide recruiting partners.
“MAU is a perfect match for us,” added Lee Whetstone, President of FutureStaff. “Their commitment to driving improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and cost savings through their lean systems and outsourcing offerings are making their clients more competitive. Most importantly, they demonstrate they care about people.”
