t’s been a banner quarter for Tropical Smoothie Cafe, reporting an 8% comps increase in January, followed by 6% in February. Take the $8.25 average ticket and $846,431 average gross sales* into account, and the results are even more impressive.

These rock star results are impressive outliers in an otherwise lackluster industry. A recent report published by Nation’s Restaurant News quantified the dwindling Q1 restaurant sales. After an uptick in January, same store sales fell 3.7%, with traffic declining 5%. Furthermore, February’s same store sales marked the lowest in the last four years.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe continues to stand out from the competition and is poised for yet another strong year of growth.
