The Technology Association of Georgia, one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation, recognized Jacquie Chew, the Advanced Technology Development Center’s marketing startup catalyst, as one of its Diversity Game Changers at the 7th Annual TAG Diversity Awards.

The awards, which were handed out during a June 27 ceremony at the Morehouse School of Medicine, recognized outstanding individuals in nine industry categories. Chew was one of three individuals recognized in the Digital Marketing category, for her role and work as founder and principal of iFusion, a go-to-market collective.

The event was made possible by sponsors Google, Manhattan Associates, SunTrust, and Turner. All Game Changers be featured in the 2017 Diversity in Technology edition of TAG’s publication, Hub Magazine.

As ATDC’s marketing startup catalyst, Chew serves as a marketing strategy advisor to companies in the ATDC Accelerate and ATDC Signature portfolios. She also provides guidance on evolving the ATDC brand.

Chew is a veteran of Georgia’s innovation ecosystem. In the last 20 years, she launched dozens of products and companies and helped startups raise more than $70 million in capital.

In addition to iFusion, Chew is the licensee and organizer of TEDxPeachtree,Georgia’s largest TEDx group. She is a sought after speaker on digital strategy, entrepreneurship and integrated marketing and has spoken at conferences in the United States as well as Singapore and China. Her work in entrepreneurship with women and people of color has been recognized by her peers. She was named a “Game Changer” by Spelman College in the 2015 Women of Color Conference and is the recipient of the Chozen Awards and the Digitini Awards.
