The Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS premier charity fundraising event of the year, the Annual Spring Fling, was held May 24, at City Winery at Ponce City Market. Over 400 REALTORS and guests came together and raised over $55,000 for two local charities. The event featured great food, raffle prizes and networking opportunities with Atlanta’s commercial real estate leaders and professionals.

The proceeds from the event will be donated to the ACBR’s two selected 2017 charities: Kate’s Club, a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower children and teens facing life after the death of a parent or sibling, and Devereux GA, a non-profit organization that provides important direct care services to children, adolescents and young adults struggling with emotional and behavioral health challenges.  For more information about these two outstanding organizations you may visit katesclub.org and devereux.org.

The Community Service Committee Chair Wes Vaughan notes that “The commercial real estate community in Atlanta is dedicated to helping those in need. As our marketplace thrives, we want to make sure we give back to the broader Atlanta community, and we feel honored to be making a difference within these two incredible organizations.”

The Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS’ Board President, F. Keene Miller, reacted to the event by saying “We enjoyed a fantastic new venue of the City Winery for our event this year. It was a great setting for our latest fundraiser showcasing the commitment of ACBR to supporting Atlanta charitable organizations.”
