The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center at Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for its 2017 signature program GrowSMART. This specialized program, designed for established business owners and leaders poised for break-out growth, consists of five day-long sessions held on Fridays, 9am – 4pm on July 28, August 4, August, 11, August 18, and August 25  at the KSU Center, 3333 Busbee Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

“Whether in business for two years or twenty years, many small business owners are so busy working IN their business, they neglect working ON it. The success of the SBDC GrowSMART program is the result of its unique holistic approach. Entrepreneurs  learn to analyze and manage their business like a seasoned CEO, discuss best practices among their peers and learn new strategies from experts in key functional areas”, explains Drew Tonsmeire, Area Director of the UGA SBDC at KSU.

Georgia Power has sponsored UGA SBDC programs for growing businesses since 2002. Through their support of SBDC GrowSMART, over 2,000 of Georgia’s small business leaders have acquired the tools to take their businesses to higher level.
