Hartsfield-Jackson General Manager to Keynote DeKalb Chamber Luncheon July 13th

Roosevelt Council, General Manager of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, will serve as the keynote speaker for the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce General Membership Meeting on July 13.

The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Atlanta Marriott Century Center, 2000 Century Boulevard NE, Atlanta.

Mr. Council will discuss how Hartsfield-Jackson contributes to Georgia's economy and how it became the world's busiest airport. Small businesses will also learn how they can leverage business growth opportunities at the airport.

"Hartsfield-Jackson plays a major role in bringing economic development to the State of Georgia," said Katerina Taylor, DeKalb Chamber President and CEO. "As the largest employer in Georgia, our members will have the opportunity to learn about the significance of Hartsfield-Jackson and its impact on business."
 
As General Manager, Roosevelt Council oversees airport operations as well as a $6 billion capital improvement program that will pave the way for growth over the next 20 years. Previously, Mr. Council served as the Airport Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer, where he directed all accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and forecasting, procurement and treasury operations at the airport.
