Three undergraduate specialties offered by Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business are among the nation’s best, according to the 2018 Best Colleges edition of U.S. News & World Report, released this week.

Robinson’s undergraduate program in risk management and insurance is No. 5; its undergraduate computer information systems program is No. 10; and its undergraduate real estate program is No. 13. The college’s B.B.A. is No. 64 overall and No. 40 among programs offered at public universities.

U.S. News determines its business program rankings by surveying deans and senior faculty at undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

“These rankings are a testimony to the excellence of our curriculum, faculty and students,” said Richard Phillips, dean of the Robinson College.

In the new rankings, Georgia State is rated the No. 4 most innovative university in the nation, No. 8 for “an unusually strong commitment to undergraduate teaching,” and among the top 20 for ethnic diversity.
