Wednesday, November 1st, 2017

United Distributors, Inc., the largest beverage alcohol distributor in Georgia and Alabama, announced a financial contribution to support disaster relief efforts in Napa and Sonoma counties following the devastating wildfires in Northern California this month.  United represents hundreds of California wineries and properties, and many of our associates have deep and long-lasting relationships with colleagues and friends personally affected by the fires.

“The impact of the fires on the Napa and Sonoma communities is devastating.  We’re hopeful that our efforts will provide additional resources to the people of the region most in need,” said Doug Hertz, United’s Chairman and CEO.  “Our hearts are with everyone suffering from the effects of the wildfires.”

The donation from United and the Hertz Family will provide $50,000 to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund and the Sonoma County Resilience Fund.  The funds will provide much-needed aid for the victims of the fires with services including food, shelter, childcare, and health care needs. United is encouraging associates, partners, and many others to join in supporting the Napa and Sonoma communities with individual donations.  The following are links to the two relief funds:
