Acivilate Raises $3M in Seed Round

Acivilate, an Atlanta-based tech startup focused on the criminal justice sector, raised $3 million in a seed round led by BIP Capital. GRA Ventures, a public-private venture capital fund that invests in research-driven, Georgia-based startup companies, also participated in the round.
Founded by CEO Louise Wasilewski, Acivilate’s software platform enables governments and service providers to coordinate services for newly-released prisoners to drive greater effectiveness and cost savings.
Acivilate is a startup in the Advanced Technology Development Center’s ATDC Signature portfolio of companies.
