During the 2017 Christmas and New Year’s holidays, the State Road and Tollway Authority has announced the following schedule for its Xpress commuter coach service and its I-75 South Metro Express Lanes.

Xpress Commuter Coach Service

Christmas, Monday, Dec. 25 – no Xpress service and the Customer Service Center is closed. On Tuesday, Dec. 26, Xpress service will operate as normal but the Customer Service Center will operate on limited hours of 5:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

New Year’s Day, Jan. 1 – no Xpress service and the Customer Service Center is closed.
I-75 South Metro Express Lanes

For the I-75 South Metro Express Lanes, the following schedule is announced for the Christmas and New Year’s holiday. (The flow of the lanes is subject to change based on traffic on these days).

Christmas

The lanes will reverse at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, and will remain going south until 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, at which time they will reverse north. At 10:30 p.m., Saturday, the lanes will reverse and remain going south until 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26. At that time, the lanes will return to normal operations.

New Year’s

There will be no reversal of the lanes on the night of Friday, Dec. 29. Traffic will continue to flow south through 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at which time they will reverse north through peak traffic time on Tuesday, Jan. 2. The lanes will then return to normal operations at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2.
