The Atlanta Women’s Foundation announces Inspire Atlanta, a new leadership program for professional women looking to ignite their passion to create positive change for women in Atlanta. This half-year program will introduce participants to corporate and civic leaders, connect them with other women professionals, develop their philanthropic skills and explore critical issues facing women and girls locally. Applications for the inaugural class are now being accepted at atlantawomen.org.

“The goal of this program is to develop the next generation of women leaders and philanthropist in Atlanta,” said AWF CEO Kari B. Love, “We’re tapping into the energy and passion these women have to not only make a difference in our community, but inspire others around them to do the same.”

Inspire Atlanta will focus on three main area – personal development, leadership development and philanthropic development. Participants will attend events such as customized board and fundraising trainings, a poverty simulation experience, a day of service, and conversations with corporate, civic and community leaders. They will also take part in a fundraising campaign in support of AWF.

AWF will be hosting two webinar information sessions for interested applicants to learn more about the program and ask questions. The webinars will be held Friday, January 26, 11 am-12 pm and Monday, February 5, 4-5 pm. To register for a webinar or to complete the application, go to atlantawomen.org/get-involved/inspire/.
