City leaders and several Gwinnett officials were on hand Monday morning to help the Atlanta Marriott Peachtree Corners celebrate the completion of the hotel’s final phase of an extensive remodeling project. The transformation, which began 18 months ago, concluded with the remodeling of all guest rooms now featuring Marriott’s freshly “redesigned” room concept.
Set in Technology Park, in the heart of suburban Peachtree Corners, the hotel is located at 475 Technology Parkway and offers 222 spacious guest rooms, including four suites and two concierge-level floors.
The interior is designed in cool tones and warm woods. The new Restaurant 475 offers American cuisine with local specialties. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Restaurant 475 has quickly become a local favorite, ranking among the area’s best restaurants on Yelp.
The restaurant offers a shaded outdoor terrace for guests to enjoy a cocktail or homemade ice cream. And the Starbucks Coffee kiosk inside the hotel offers Pike Place traveler containers and freshly baked muffins and Danishes to-go.
There are nine meeting rooms with 4,894 square feet of meeting and event space, a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, complimentary onsite parking, and wireless internet access throughout the hotel.
“Peachtree Corners has always considered Marriott as one of its premier hotels,” said Mayor Mike Mason during Monday’s ribbon-cutting ceremony. “The renovations they have made to the lobby and rooms have certainly added to its reputation as a first-class hotel.”
