Taylor English Duma LLP is honored to announce that it is partnering with The Military Family Support Center of Georgia to create opportunities that support active and retired military members and their families. To commence this partnership, Taylor English is hosting a networking event at the firm’s Atlanta office on March 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. to promote opportunities for collaboration among existing military and veteran support organizations in the area.
“The event will connect guests with local leaders dedicated to addressing the needs of current and former Georgia military personnel,” said David Connell, a founding Director of the Military Family Support Center and former President and CEO of the Cobb Chamber.
Founded in 2016, the Military Family Support Center of Georgia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting military members, active and retired, and their families by providing access to a multitude of services, including a commissary, in order to address the diverse living needs of these families. More information is available at http://mfscga.org/.
“The mission of The Military Family Support Center is to permanently ensure that the commissary store and related services that it helped bring back to North Georgia remain available for our active and retired service members and their families to use, even when government services are no longer available,” said Amy Weber, a board member of The Military Family Support Center and Partner with Taylor English. “We are proud to support this initiative and look forward to working with the many other local organizations that help address the need of our military and their families.”
