Taylor English Welcomes Real Estate Partner John Taylor

Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce the arrival of John Taylor, who is joining the firm as a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group in Atlanta. Taylor has more than 23 years of experience representing institutional owners, lenders, and users in commercial real estate transactions throughout the country.

Taylor has experience serving clients including regional and national banks, life insurance companies, timberland investment management organizations, developers and high-wealth individuals. He has experience with a variety of property types including retail, multifamily, office, industrial, hospitality, silvicultural and recreational.
In addition to his years of commercial real estate practice, Taylor has experience in real property litigation. His practice also includes serving as special master in disputes concerning discovery generally and electronically-stored information particularly.
Taylor is licensed and registered as a civil mediator by the Administrative Office of the Courts of Georgia and the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution.
Outside of the firm, Taylor serves on the board of the directors for the Tapestry Development Group, a nonprofit low-income housing developer. He is also an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Cobb County Bar serving in committees including the Real Property Law Section and the Business Law & Litigation Section.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State College and his law degree from the University of Georgia.
