PulteGroup Announces Passing of Company Founder William “Bill” Pulte

PulteGroup, Inc. announced that company founder and industry icon, William J. Pulte, passed away today. Bill, who was 85 years old, had retired from the Company in 2010.
Bill’s life reads as a true American success story, as he built his first home by hand at the age of 18 and his first complete subdivision before the age of 30. Known for designing value and innovative features into his floor plans, Bill soon expanded to other markets including Denver, Atlanta, Chicago, and Washington, DC. He was most recently named to the Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan Hall of Fame in December 2017.
