Summit Contracting Group, a Multifamily General Contractor with new offices in Atlanta, has started construction on student apartments near Georgia Institute of Technology, called Theory West Midtown. This mixed-use community will consist of 525 beds in two five-story wood frame buildings on a concrete podium, with first floor retail shops, and parking garage. The total square footage is 385,917 with 10,500 square feet of dedicated retail space on Marietta Street. Additional luxury amenities will include a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, business center, study areas, package locker system, rooftop terrace, and bike storage.

Construction is scheduled to be complete in Summer of 2019. The owner is BVSHSSF Atlanta, LLC and the architect is Niles Bolton Associates, Inc.
