Atlanta-based CharterUP, a Technology-Driven Charter Bus Service, to Launch in NYC
Staff Report From Metro Atlanta CEO
Thursday, April 12th, 2018
CharterUP, a transportation technology provider, announced plans to launch its proprietary reservation platform for faster motorcoach bookings in the New York City metropolitan area.
The platform will benefit both customers who need ground transportation and local bus providers who serve them. Local bus providers will increase their inbound leads, receive GPS tracking tools, and streamline their booking process. In turn, customers will spend less time waiting for a rental quote and will be paired with the top-rated bus providers in their area.
According to Mike Bielenberg, Director of Communications at CharterUP, this technology isn’t a solution that only benefits one side of the transaction.
“The charter bus industry is long overdue for an upgrade,” Bielenberg said. “We now have the technology to speed up the reservation process for customers and put the qualified bus providers in front of significantly more customers each year. It’s a win-win for everyone.”
With CharterUP’s new reservation platform, the company’s booking agents will see the real-time bus utilization of local partners and provide callers with information on pricing and availability in seconds.
The company plans to also launch its new reservation services in Washington, D.C. in late-April and expand to the rest of the Northeast, West Coast, and Southwest parts of the country later this year.
