Cobb EMC announced that the electric cooperative has initiated a national search for a Chief Financial Officer who will help the company extend positive momentum, continually improve on fiscal and operational strength, and drive innovation and long-term value for member-owners.  

The position will report directly to Cobb EMC’s President and CEO, Peter Heintzelman, and will oversee all aspects of accounting, finance and enterprise resource planning for one of the largest electric cooperatives in the nation. The position will interact with and provide reports to Cobb EMC’s board of directors, as well as serve as a valued resource for Gas South, a leading provider of natural gas in the Southeast and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cobb EMC. The candidate should be a forward-thinker and provide a fiscally sound vision and operational plan while ensuring transparency and accountability.
