Hartman Simons & Wood LLP, one of the nation’s leading commercial real estate law firms, announced its representation of North American Properties in the lease negotiations that will bring iPic Entertainment’s first Georgia theater to Midtown Atlanta’s Colony Square.

iPic confirmed it selected Colony Square, an original Atlanta icon and one of the city’s most vibrant mixed-use communities, to build a nine-screen, 426-seat luxury iPic theater, along with a 6,700-square-foot destination bar/restaurant. iPic is scheduled to be completed in 2020 as part Colony Square’s multi-phased redevelopment.

“We have had our eye on the Atlanta market for five years now, and the Colony Square redevelopment project allowed us to launch the iPic brand experience into one of the top ten DMAs in the country,” said Hamid Hashemi, president and CEO of iPic Entertainment, in a release.

Hartman Simons’ Diane Lidz led the legal efforts that bring iPic’s luxurious theatrical escape to Colony Square. In addition to viewing the latest Hollywood blockbusters, the nine-auditorium theater will host alternative content such as live shows including magic, comedy, along with gaming competitions and other iPic experiential ticketed events.
