The award-winning HowStuffWorks podcast network launched “The Question Booth Podcast,” featuring conversations with the public recorded inside The Question Booth miniature recording studio at Atlanta’s Ponce City Market. Starting in November 2017, HowStuffWorks invited the public to visit The Question Booth’s mobile studio for a quiet place to discuss life’s big questions: no phones, no distractions, just two strangers having a conversation. With new episodes airing on Fridays, tune in weekly on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify, and more.

Each week, HowStuffWorks posts a different big question at the booth, collecting dozens of diverse answers from the public as part of a project to explore our common dilemmas and celebrate differing opinions. Each episode brings questions and answers to light in a welcoming place –– revealing how we’re all more alike than different.

“We’re launching a lot of great shows this year, but The Question Booth is one of our favorites––a passion project,” said HowStuffWorks President Conal Byrne. “The concept is so simple: every week we invite hundreds of people into the booth and ask them the same question, to collect the most creative answers out there. The most amazing thing happens as we edit the episodes together. Piecing together several individuals’ insights, you really start to understand how people’s ideas are often that much smarter when they build off each other. We really are greater than the sum of our parts. That’s what the show is about, and we couldn’t be more excited to put it out there in the world.”

The Question Booth is brought to you by hosts Kathleen Quillian and Dylan Fagan of HowStuffWorks. Kathleen is a producer and former documentary filmmaker whose experience in radio includes WABE Atlanta and Georgia Public Broadcasting. Dylan is a podcaster, producer, and musician who has produced various HowStuffWorks’ shows including “FoodStuff” and “Stuff Mom Never Told You.”
