Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP has appointed partner Ed Emerson as Chair of the firm’s Employment and Benefits Practice group. In addition, the firm welcomes four new attorneys to the group.

Emerson counsels clients, including tax-exempt organizations and governmental entities, with respect to employee benefits, retirement plans, and executive compensation. He also speaks regularly on employee benefits and fiduciary issues for various employer and professional groups. He has been a partner at the firm since 2013.

“Ed is the type of entrepreneurial and client-oriented attorney that thrives at MMM,” said MMM Managing Partner Louise Wells. “He leads a ‘go-to’ employee benefits practice and he has recruited an experienced and talented employment team who will serve our clients well.”

Under Emerson’s leadership, the Employment and Benefits group has recently added four new attorneys:

* Abby Larimer, Associate

Caiafa, Stone and Larimer represent clients on a broad range of employment matters and Gorman specializes in employee benefits and executive compensation.

“We are thrilled to add Meredith, Ellenor, Ryan and Abby to our team,” Emerson says. “They will all play integral roles in our expanding practice and provide the type of quality service and value our clients expect from us.”
