Azalea Health, a leading provider of fully-integrated cloud-based healthcare solutions and services, announced it has partnered with Iron Bridge Corporation to leverage Pub Hub, the Iron Bridge public health reporting clearinghouse, as well as the Pub Hub Provider Portal. This will allow Azalea Health customers to submit public health information, such as immunizations, syndromic surveillance, cancer cases and electronic reportable labs.
The workflow between Azalea Health and Iron Bridge helps eligible physicians and hospitals meet the reporting requirements under Meaningful Use Stage 3 for immunization reporting, electronic laboratory reporting, cancer reporting and syndromic health reporting to public health agencies.
By leveraging the Iron Bridge library of pre-existing connections to state and local public health registries, Pub Hub will eliminate the need for point-to-point connections with each registry and streamline the process of public health registry queries and data submission. The improved workflow will improve cash flow as well as clinical outcomes through enhanced care coordination.
“This strategic partnership with Iron Bridge exemplifies the power of interoperability in helping rural and community-based hospitals and practices comply with state regulations,” said Luke McCampbell, Director of Interoperability at Azalea Health. “Azalea is proud to work with Iron Bridge to ensure our providers are accurately reporting to state agencies, therefore, better enabling them to provide meaningful, value-based care.”
“We are excited to join with Azalea Health as they look to expand their platform and allow their growing provider base access to our cloud-based registry reporting capabilities. The bi-directional capabilities of the Pub Hub Provider Portal will simplify retrieving the registry specific forecasting and immunization history and will also provide the visibility for Azalea clients to more seamlessly integrate with and adhere to state-based reporting requirements,” said Brian J. Brandebura - Iron Bridge Chief Operating Officer.
