Cumberland Academy of Georgia, a school for students with special needs located in Atlanta, Georgia, recently entered into a partnership with Chick-fil-A Perimeter Pointe and Chick-fil-A Hammond Drive. Several high school aged students will be "trained" by the director of training Jeff Chong in culinary skills. These skills will include kitchen safety, meal prep, grocery purchasing, and clean up skills.

"We are extremely happy about our new partnership with Cumberland Academy of Georgia," says Jeff Chong. "Chick-fil-A is one of the most progressive and dynamic companies with respect to training employees. Combining my enjoyment of culinary with my work at Chick-fil-A will be rewarding as we are able to see new skills develop with the students. We are very excited to begin working in the school."

Jeff Chong currently works with new hires teaching them how to work at Chick-fil-A and places each new hire in positions within the restaurant based on their skills. He also works on re-training employees by exploring new skills.
