Georgia Transmission Corporation Names Angie Farsee Vice President and Officer

Georgia Transmission Corporation recently named Angela Y. Farsee as vice president of Human Resources. Following the announcement, the board of directors also approved her as an officer of the corporation.
Farsee has more than 30 years of experience in human resources, primarily in the finance and utility industries. She came to Georgia Transmission in 1998 and has held the positions of senior human resources generalist, program manager and director.
“Serving the corporation through my various human resources roles has been a highly rewarding experience for me and a highlight of my career,” said Farsee. “I look forward to continuing to serve Georgia Transmission as the electric utility landscape continues to evolve.”
Throughout her career, Farsee has been an active member of numerous organizations such as United Way and the Society for Human Resources Management. She currently serves on the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s Workforce Advisory Group, is a member of the Executive Committee for the Georgia Energy and Industrial Construction Consortium and previously served as president for the Generation & Transmission Human Resources Association. Farsee also recently graduated from the Leadership DeKalb program.

Farsee holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from Kennesaw State University, and is a certified Professional in Human Resources.
