MacStadium Acquires Cloud Orchestration Software Company

MacStadium, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise-class infrastructure as a service solutions built on Apple Mac hardware, announced that it has acquired specific assets of Atlanta-based software company, Virtual Command, including key personnel and intellectual property related to virtualization and cloud orchestration software.
With this acquisition, MacStadium adds deep industry expertise in platform development that complements the company's core discipline centered around deployment of scalable private clouds built on Apple hardware. The additional resources will facilitate the faster delivery of new products, features, and functionality while introducing speed and efficiencies to deploying MacStadium services. The acquisition will accelerate the development of customized solutions using Docker containers and Kubernetes for orchestration to streamline iOS and Mac application development for MacStadium customers and partners.
