Atlanta Attorney Christian Torgrimson Has Been Named as a 2018 Woman of Influence

Pursley Friese Torgrimson is pleased to announce that its managing partner, Christian Torgrimson, has been named as a 2018 Woman of Influence by Real Estate Forum, a leading commercial real estate publication. This year’s list marks the 25th anniversary of its Women of Influence Spotlight, which highlights the achievements of exceptional women in commercial real estate and the industry’s efforts toward diversification and inclusion. Women of Influence is the first and longest running award of its kind in the national commercial real estate community.  

A highly experienced eminent domain attorney, Torgrimson helps clients navigate the complexities of a condemnation to obtain the just compensation guaranteed by the Constitution when the government condemns private property. She brings extensive experience to all aspects of eminent domain proceedings including jury trials, mediations, and acquisitions and closings throughout local, county and state governments.
 
Torgrimson represents a variety of clients throughout Georgia including large and small businesses, developers, franchisors and franchisees, retail centers and shopping center owners. A leader in the commercial real estate industry, she frequently writes and presents on eminent domain issues, is a past Chair of the Eminent Domain Section of the State Bar of Georgia, and previously served as president of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and a member of the executive board for more than 10 years.
 
She earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law and her bachelor’s degree cum laude from the University of South Carolina.
